What You Can Expect: The Home Building Process
When you decide to build a new home, you may wonder, “What’s next?” At Pride Builders, we work with our homeowners to realize the home of their dreams. From the moment you decide it’s time to build (or renovate), there are numerous steps to take along your journey of realizing your dream home. We’ve outlined the basic process, but keep in mind, every project is unique and these steps can vary from homeowner to homeowner.

If you don't have the land or property for your home project, now's the time to get started on securing the property. Remember, finding the perfect property for your project can take time, so patience is important.
Whether we help you decide on your house plans, you work with an architect, or you purchase predesigned house plans, deciding on your final floor plan early on will make the following steps flow more fluidly and help establish a timeline from the onset. Keep in mind, it's not uncommon for this step to overlap and linger into other steps of the process.
During our initial consultation, we answer any questions you may have as well as explain the building process and what you can expect working with Pride Builders. We know this process can be overwhelming and stressful, that's why we are here to help guide you while learning more about your project and expectations.
After the initial consultation, we'll present a Contingency to Build Agreement. If all parties agree to proceed, the Contingency to Build Agreement is signed and the initial deposit is paid. During this step, a spot on our schedule is secured.
Work with our team to make selections for your new home. Interior and exterior finishes, specifications and selections are chosen, while keeping with your budget and timeline.
As we move forward and all parties agree, a preliminary estimate is established and the Construction Contract is agreed upon and signed.
Surveying, engineering, and finalizing all selections are conducted during this step. All the preparations are made to begin your project and ensure it's success from the start.
Permits for your project are pulled so work can begin. Get ready to go vertical!
